Amassment Moved!- Grand Opening Party!

Greetings Amassment members,

You may have noticed the incredible drop in activity here, this is because we were making the transition to our own domain and forums! This move is for the best, for the past few weeks we have been testing and getting the forums up and running smoothly. It's been great! So now we are inviting you to make this move with us to board.amassment.org! All events, sotm, motm, and posts are now at the forums. Join us this weekend for the party and get a special badge for your collection a the forum!

Livejournal has been very unreliable and for most of us here (myself included) we keep LJ accounts just to keep up with amassment or other communities. We feel this transition is for the best!

Also, you will notice Amassment.org is now up! For those of you who have been in the community for a while know that this has been a long term project and we are excited to unveil it. Everything amassment related will now be at this domain. We hope you will be joining in this new chapter with us!

Fansite Pageant Winners!

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for participating in 2011's fansite pageant. It was our 3rd annual pageant and another great year thanks to you all! We had a great list of shrines to choose from and visit. We hope that you will take the time to visit each of these great sites if you haven't already. We look forward to seeing you later in 2012 for the next pageant.

Hello Amassment Members! I'd like to introduce to you our new segment entitled You Talk, We Listen. It's time for you to post whatever you feel like about Amassment! Do you have ideas for new events? Great, tell us! Do you just want to tell us what a great job we're doing? Awesome! Or do you want to tell us what problems and complaints you have? That is great, too! What can we improve or what can we keep doing? This is the time to tell us what is on your mind!

Amassment is only as successful as the people who are here and who want to be active in the community, which is why hearing what you have to say is incredibly important to us. Welcome to Amassment at DW!

Hey guys, Masao here! Since LJ's most recent update and changes to the comment page have made a lot of our member upset, we've decided to finally set up our DW branch. Originally, this was meant as a back up in case LJ became instable or something similar, but now we'll be using this as an alternative form of community activity for those who either no longer wish to use LJ or those who want to use both.

We're still working out all the details, so more will come in the future, like how our Directory will reflect the changes, but for now, post here as you would post at LJ. We welcome old and new members posting their introductions again. I'm sure many things have changed since our original intro posts, so this would be a good opportunity to update it. There's a list of available tags on the sidebar, but if there's something you're not sure about, leave a note in the post, and we'll fix it up for you.

There is no auto-crosspost function, so if you would like to make your post available to people who only use LJ, feel free to manually crosspost it, but it is not a requirement.

And finally, if there are any questions, feel free to comment here and let us know!
